The following is just one example of how a volunteer position helped one of our jobseekers gain confidence and employability skills that enabled her to pump up her resume and find employment: The Murwillumbah RSL Sub-Branch has been most impressed with the work ethic of Pip since she started voluntary work with us last year.Pip has been the most diligent worker I have had the pleasure of training. Pip is punctual, a very quiet person, but quick to understand our proceedures. She has been heavily involved in sending out more than 50 letters in relation to our ANZAC Day programme. We have had her attending our Annual General Meeting and monthly meetings to record the minutes, as well as assist in the election of office bearers for 2013. We cannot speak highly enough of her dedicated work ethic and highly recommend her for whatever position she wishes to apply for.
I want to let you know how much the Oxley Club appreciates your assistance in sending us Volunteers. So far the Volunteers you have sent are working very well and are happy to help in any way they can - they have been of great value to us.
Our vege boxes are fully subscribed and we are now also supplying to a local cafe. Thanks so much again for all your help and support during our initial stages of NEIS, we really appreciate it!
Through support services and access to information, NORTEC and Staff helped empower me to get back into the workforce, and back into life. All of my thanks to NORTEC!
NORTEC staff helped me get a job within a month and a job that I wanted, working with kids and being with people
The staff at NORTEC are extremely helpful. They listened to my request and delivered good quality resumes to me the very next day. They found us a new staff member who is working out great in the position.
NORTEC provided my business with excellent labour hire and recruitment support, and have been a major factor in our company completing large projects on time, and in a professional manner.
