NORTEC Staffing Solutions is contracted by the Australian Federal Government to deliver their jobactive program, from Northern New South Wales to South East Queensland. This program is designed to better meet the needs of jobseekers and employers and improve job outcomes for everyone.
NORTEC Staffing Solutions works closely with jobseekers and employers to understand individual needs, and seeks to provide a solution to best suit both the jobseeker and employer.
Employers – we are your local jobactive provider!
Employers can use NORTEC for tailored recruitment services, at no cost to their business. NORTEC works closely with employers to understand their recruitment needs, and deliver the best recruitment solution possible.
Through jobactive, NORTEC screens and gets candidates job ready, provides pre-employment training and work-related equipment, if needed, for the jobs in your business. We offer support while new employees settle in, and access to wage subsidies when you recruit and retain an eligible job seeker. Jobseekers
NORTEC offers jobseekers advice and relevant work skills to help them gain and retain employment long-term. NORTEC is flexible in its delivery of jobactive, in that we tailor our services to your needs as an individual looking for work, including crafting a resume, helping you search for work and prepare for job interviews through role playing, and getting you skilled for the industries in demand of talent in your region.
To help you get and keep a job, NORTEC can access funding to pay for work-related items, professional services, relevant training and support after you start work.
NORTEC can also connect you to a range of other government initiatives, including relocation assistance, employer wage subsidies, NSW training and QLD training, apprenticeships and help to start a business through the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS).
Jobseekers who receive income support payments such as the Newstart allowance, Youth Allowance (other) or Parenting Payment, and have mutual obligation requirements will generally receive the full range of jobactive services.
