She has extensive experience working in both Government and Non-Government Community Organisations. Including; Ipswich Regional Aboriginal Legal Service, CDEP Ipswich Regional Corporation, CTC Employment Services Kingaroy, Link-Up Qld Aboriginal Corporation, Borallon Correctional Centre and Thiess Mining, Nanango.
Throughout her career she has continuously assisted with mentoring a huge range of diverse people from all backgrounds.
Her passion is to make a difference and assist others to change their life’s for the better.
Working at NORTEC as an Indigenous Work Advisor, Karen’s aim is to continue her passion, to assist people into suitable employment.
Raised out west Orange area, father from Wiradjuri nation (Bell & Towney families) and Mother from Gumbayngirr nation (Donovan & Flanders families).
Harry was raised in the Orange and Wellington region up until the age of 22, his father was always involved in Aboriginal politics, particularly the local and regional Lands Councils.
He moved to Kendall where I became active in the local Aboriginal communities in the Hastings, Macleay, Nambucca and Bowraville areas. Harry was employed as an Aboriginal District Officer with the Department of Community Services for 13 years, he was seconded to work on policies, procedures and guidelines for a new Aboriginal Foster Care Service called Burrun Dalai Out of Home Care and Family Support Service. Harry worked as the Coordinator with Burrun Dalai for the first 4 years.
He has worked in the Construction for the past 6 years before taking up the role as an Indigenous Work Advisor for NORTEC.
Is a proud Aboriginal women from the Mid North Coast. She is particularly interested in the unemployment, education and life expectancy issues that are of concern to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Working at NORTEC as an Indigenous Work Adviser gives Barb the opportunity to be part of the change for the better. Providing genuine, long term career pathways for her mob.

Having commenced with NORTEC as an Indigenous Work Advisor on 1 May 2017, Narelle based in Grafton but also cover, Pottsville, Murwillumbah, Byron Bay, Ballina, Kyogle, Lismore, Casino, and Yamba offices.
Previously Narelle has worked at Telecom Australia, Centrelink and Indigenous Business Australia. She has considerable administrative, reception, customer service and case management experience.
