Social media can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, it can be a fabulous tool for promoting your products or services, building brand awareness, and engaging with your audience. On the other hand, it is easy to fall into the trap of spending lots of time and energy on socials.
It’s crucial to strike a balance between using social media effectively and not letting it consume all of your time and energy. It is too easy to fall into the trap of spending lots of time and energy on socials.
In this session, Jess will share how to be business-savvy with your social media so that you can grow your audience in the most efficient way possible. Jess will provide you with practical tips and strategies to help you streamline your social media efforts.


  1. Where social media fits into an overarching digital marketing strategy
  2. A brief overview of a few different platforms and the types of content that work best on each one
  3. Evergreen content, high value content and an overview of scheduling tools


  • You must be registered with the Business Connect program.
  • You should be logged in and registered for the Webinar MS Teams meeting at least 5 minutes prior.
  • Have a pen & paper ready to write down your questions, as well as a bottle of water.
  • Online video recordings and resources will be available for those who attend and who registered with Business Connect.


This webinar is aimed at small businesses throughout NSW who have just started or have an established business and we have the capacity to host up to 500 people.
The webinar will take place on MS Teams, click below to book. You will receive the MS Teams link in an email prior to the workshop (check your spam folder as they often go there). This will be a live online event which will be recorded. The recording and resources will be sent to attendees in due course.
