Community Grants

Community Grants

In 2014 NORTEC made available 3 x $10,000 Community Grants to fund not-for-profit projects or activities that benefit our local communities. We received a high caliber of applications, indicative of the engagement and commitment of community organisations in our region. The three successful applicants were:
For theatre productions and workshops in Northern Rivers school that educate young people on the risks of illicit drug use.
a 'sister' mentoring program for at-risk young teenage girls.
For work skills and jobs program for persons with a disability or mental illness. We extend our thanks to all applicants and wish them well in all their endeavours which serve to create opportunities and inspire futures for community members in our region.
